Eula "Faye" Erkmann, 85 of Nixa, Missouri formerly of McLeansboro born March 24, 1939 in McLeansboro, Illinois, to Herman and Velma Huffstutler, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, leaving a rich legacy of love, family and community. In 1957, Faye married John Robert Erkmann, with whom she shared a joyful and fulfilling marriage until his passing in 2009.  Together they raised two children: Cheryl and Kevin. Faye was a devoted mother, always dedicated to her family, and was known for being a loving and caring mom.

After living in southern Illinois, the family settled in Mokena, Illinois where Faye worked in a factory making printing press plates. They lived there for 30 years before retiring to Nixa, Missouri, in 1990.

In her retirement, Faye enjoyed gardening, attending shows in Branson, and trying out new restaurants. She was also an active member of Nixa General Baptist Church and volunteered at Nixa Nursing and Rehab, where she helped with activities bringing joy and care to the residents. Faye's kindness, her devotion to her family, and her loving presence will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Faye is survived by her daughter Cheryl, son Kevin (Lisa), grandson eric, great-granddaughter Fallyn, and her brothers Wendell Huffstutler (Nikki) and Marvin Huffstutler (Gloria).

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, John.
