Howard Dale Lathrop was born in Wayne Co., Illinois, February 20, 1932 to Roscoe & Viola (Brown) Lathrop.  He was the second of three sons. His brothers Glen and Mervin preceded him in death.  On September 23, 1951 he married Doris Coil who preceded him in death in 2023.
