Jack Wayne Colclasure, age 70, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2019.

He was born April 1, 1949, in Olney, the son of Opal Wayne and Henrietta Marie (Smith) Colclasure. he was united in marriage to Delores Krutsinger on November 4, 1972, in Louisville, and they have shared 46 wedding anniversaries together. 

Jack served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He had been a dedicated truck driver working mostly for Timco Trucking and in the past several trucking companies which served North American Lighting. He also worked for Valley Steel and Jennmar. Jack was a member and trustee of First Southern Baptist Church where he and Delores were very involved, and where Jack took pride in maintaining the church grounds. He found a lot of enjoyment in mowing, yard care, and lawn equipment maintenance, and was a loving husband, dad and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife Delores Krutsinger Colclasure of Flora; 2 daughters Jennifer Taylor of Flora and Susan Pennington (Brian) of Flora; 5 grandchildren: Brent Taylor, Samantha Taylor, Christian Taylor, Paige Pennington, and Sara Pennington; 1 great-granddaughter: Denver Taylor; half-sister Barb Coleman (Jeff) of Indiana; and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Mariland Bullard; and a brother: David Colclasure Rose.

Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Illinois.
