1780 John Anderson in
Virginia. He married Mourning Maulding
the daughter of Ambrose & Peggy Maulding probably in Logan Co., KY.
[John Anderson] came from Kentucky to this vicinity [McLeansboro, IL] about 1818. He settled near the present spillway of the city lake. His house served as the Seat of Justice for Hamilton County during formation and until a court building was erected in McLeansboro. Mourning died
Hamilton Co., IL 1846. The couple are buried in Rathbone Cemetery south of McLeansboro, IL.

buried in Amity Cemetery in Richland Co., IL.

was born 1797 in Fleming Co., KY the son of John Tipton & Mary (Denton)
Hunt. Jaily was born in 1812 in Bath
Co., KY the daughter of Absalom & Hester (Foster) Hunt. John Tipton & Absalom were brothers, the
sons of John Tipton & Mary (Overall) Hunt Sr. John Wesley died in Brown Co. IN in 1858 and
Jaily died there in 1884. Another
instance where the branch doesn’t fork!!
