Williams employee, Lowell F. Colclasure, Sr. 69 of Mill Shoals, died 2:10 a.m.
Sunday, June 30, 1985, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Colclasure moved from Chicago to Mill Shoals in 1975. He is the father of Mrs. Shirley Moore, of Fairfield .
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edward Catholic Church with Father Louis Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow at a later time.
Visitation for Mr. Colclasure will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. Monday (tonight) at Nales Funeral Home. A prayer service is planned for 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Colclasure was born in Clay County, June 4, 1916 the son of Clarence and Mary Fitzgerald Colclasure.
He was married to Caroline During to Chicago May 9, 1959. The Colclasures lived in Chicago until Mrs. Colcasure retired in 1975 and moved to Mill Shoals.
Mr. Colclasure was employed in the chemical department at Sherman WIlliams Paints for 21 years before taking early retirement in 1970 due to a stroke. He previously worked in oilfields through the U.S.
He was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Colclasure of Mill Shoals; four daughters Wanda Jordan of Carmi; Shirley Moore, of Fairfield; Caroline Coloun, of Chicago; and Mrs. Charles (Pat) Stage, Bensonville; three sons, Lowell Colclasure Jr., of Las Vegas, Nev.; Gary and Jim Colclasure both of Romeoville; two sisters, Dolores Burton of Burnt Prairie; and Laura Murray of Fairfield; two brothers, Vern Colclasure, of Plainsfield; and Dale Colclasure, of Romeoville; 15 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
