Bath Co., KY age 67. The son of John
& Esther (Harper) Hunt was born in Shenandoah Co., VA in 1773. He married Hester Foster in Bourbon Co., KY
in 1783. They had a daughter Jaily. Absalom is buried in Crain Cemetery in
Fleming Co., KY.
1895 Louisa Gentle
age 16 daughter of Howard & Isabelle (Moore) Gentle. She was born in 1878. Louisa is buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery in
Jefferson Co., IL.
1898 Jane (Morehead) Schell in Wood Co., Texas age 62. She was born
in Muhlenberg Co., KY in 1835 the daughter of Henry & Tabitha (Sullivan)
Morehead. She was married to William
Schell.
1904 Mildred (Jones)
Clark in Ancona, IL age 81. She was born
in Shelby Co., KY in 1822 and married Ephraim Clark in Seeleyville, IN in
1845. They had a son a William. Mildred is buried in Ancona Cemetery in
Ancona, IL.
1969 Elston Gurley
age 73 in Fairfield, IL. Born in
Macoupin Co., IL in 1895, Elston was the son of J.R. & Lou (Speer)
Gurley. He married 1) Golda Lathrop in
1915 and they had two children: Rosalie
and Jim. He divorced Golda in 1938 and
married Ethel Hunt a few days later.
Elston was a farmer in Wayne Co., IL and eventually lived on his
father’s farm at the west edge of Wayne City.
He is buried in the family plot at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.
