Charles W. & Mary Alice (Linder) Fitzgerald of Fairfield, IL observed fifty years of marriage September 2, 2004. The couple was married at the home of Rev. Glen Means in Fairfield on September 2, 1954.
Charles is the son of the late John & Helen (Hutson) Fitzgerald of Fairfield. Mary is the daughter of the late Paul & Grace Linder of the Boyleston area.
They are the parents of eight children: Charles Ray, Helen May, Tammy Kay, Brenda Fay, Edward Jay, Sheri Renee, Cindy Sue, and Sharon Ann. They have 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fitzgerald is a retired truck driver who still works part-time.
