Joseph Perrine was born in 1864, his mother's name was Elizabeth.
Alice Gurley was born in 1869 in Wayne Co., IL the daughter of Leonard & Susanna (Morehead) Gurley. She was born in August between her parents divorce and their remarriage in September 1869. Her father died two days before her first birthday. Her siblings sued their mother for part of the estate on her behalf. Susanna (Morehead) Gurley died when Alice was 14 years old. Alice was raised by her older siblings and moved to central Illinois with them.
Alice and Joe were married in Sangamon County, IL January 10, 1893. They lived in Clay Co. IL in 1910 and in Springfield, IL in 1920 where Joe worked selling fruit. The couple did not have children. Alice died in Springfield in 1929 at age 60 and Joe died in 1956 at age 92. They are buried together in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
