1887 George Lathrop,
prominent farmer of Claremont township was killed in a farm accident. He was born in 1854 in Richland Co., IL the
son of Henry & Rachel (Laws) Lathrop.
George married Roelia Hostetler in 1878 and they had two children:
William and Ida.
1888 Charles Irwin
age 1 son of Corbin & Charlotte (Lathrop) Irwin in Wayne Co., IL. He was born there in Jan. 1887.
1895 John Gurley age
73 in Illinois. John was born in 1821 in
NC the son of William & Polly (?) Gurley.
He married Martha ca. 1848 in Illinois and they had at least five
children: Mary, George, John, Francis and Edward. John is buried in Masonic Cemetery
in
Metropolis, IL.
