1953 Fanny (Bryan)
Brooks daughter of Wesley & Catherine (Smith) Bryan in Clay Co., IL, she
was 77. Fanny was born in Clay Co. in
1875 and married John Brooks there in 1893. Fanny is buried in Ingraham Cemetery in Ingraham, IL.
1941 James R.
Gurley, a highly respected citizen of this community passed away at his home
Friday, July 4th at 11 o’clock.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Musteen of Kansas
City and Mrs. Edna Erkman of Evansville, and two sons, Elston and Lyman of this
city. Funeral services were conducted by
Rev. G.W. Kelly at the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment at Thomason Cemetery.
