In Memoriam April 25th

1662 Hannah (Fox) Loomis in Windsor, CT. She married Thomas Loomis in 1653 and they had at least four children: Thomas, Thomas, Hannah and Mary.

1915 Blanche (Treat) Osborn age 21 in Wayne Co., IL.  Born in 1894 she married Oliver Osborn in 1912 and they had one daughter Irene.  She is buried in Bovee Cemetery in Wayne Co., IL.


1975 Della (Robertson) Wren in Oregon age 72.  Born in Sims, IL in 1903 she was the daughter of Amos & Lula (Cravens) Robertson.  They had thirteen children: Lois, Edward, Nona, Clara, daughter, Donald, Arley, Owen, Loren, Lois, Dale and Lola.  She is buried in Weston, Oregon.


1995 Charles W. Oliver 77, of Louisville, died 3:50 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 1995 at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, at the Louisville Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday (tonight), at the Neal Funeral Home, Louisville and from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, at the church.  Burial will be in the Orchard Hill Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Southern Illinois Hospice, Olney.
Mr. Oliver was born December 24, 1917, in Clay County, the son of Clyde and Gaynell (White) Oliver.  He married Rilla Elizabeth "Betty" Cook.  He was a retired custodian for North Clay School District, a member of the Louisville Baptist Church, North Clay Fire Department and past Louisville Village Board member.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Don Oliver of Salem and Dennis Oliver of Phoenix Ariz.; one daughter, Sue Oliver of Phoenix, Ariz.; three brothers, Morris Oliver of Louisville, Scott Oliver of Centralia, and Bill Oliver of Xenia; two sisters Marjorie McAllister of Flora, and Helen Kincaid of Louisville; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
