in 1847 he was the son of Abraham & Catherine (Galbraith) Colclasure. He married 1) Elizabeth Adams in 1867 and 2)
Laura Edwards in 1872. John and Laura
had six children: William, Mary, Abraham, Clarence, John and Solomon. He was a farmer in Clay Co. and is buried in
Oak Mound Cemetery.

1967 Mrs. Mary Anna
Butler, 83, of Sims, died at 5:10 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital.
She had been in declining health for six months with cancer.Mrs. Butler in recent years had made her home with a daughter Mrs. Paul Robertson in Sims. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, with interment in Thomason cemetery. Mary Ann, daughter of James and Mary Maulding Robertson, was born in Wayne county August 21st 1883. She was married to Morton Butler, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Butler was a member of the Wayne City Methodist church. Surviving are two sons, Edward, of Rockford; and James E., of Newburgh, Ind.; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Lathrop, of Wayne City; Mrs. Paul Robertson of Sims; and Mrs. Ruth Hendershot, of Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Shaw, of Wayne City, and Mrs. Jennie Johnson of Belle Rive; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
1980 Gustav Mick age
77 the son of Rudolph & Anna (Smith) Mick.
He was born in 1902, married Florence Brewe in 1925 and they had at
least one son Vernon.
1986 Mrs. Rose
Hendershott, 94, of Enfield, died Thursday morning (today) April 17, 1986, at
Life Care Center at Enfield. Mrs.
Hendershott was the mother of Lucille O'Neal, of Enfield.
Funeral services are planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Elledge Funeral Home, Enfield, with Rev. Grant Cummins officiating. Burial will follow in Enfield Cemetery.Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille O'Neal, of Enfield; and Mrs. Frances Gwaltney of Carmi; 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
