Generation 8 has 128 people in it. The drop out in generation 7 will compound the drop out we'll experience in this generation. I'm going to include some unknowns in order to theorize on some potential ancestors. It does help to find ancestors by laying out theories and possibilities in writing. It is easier to see where the dates don't line up properly and some theories can be eliminated. Sometimes the best way to determine the correct line is through a process of elimination when there aren't many records or there are two or more "John Does".
In generation 8 we will also begin to experience the doubling up of grandparents. That is some grandparents will appear twice in the ahnentafel because cousins have married in generation 7. This happens more frequently the further back we get partly due to the smaller population and partly because of marriage traditions and customs.
