1653 Rev. John
Lathrop in Barnstable, MA he was 68.
Baptized in Etton, England in 1584 was the son of Thomas & Mary
(Salte) Lathrop. Rev. John married 1)
Hannah House and they had Thomas, Jane, Anne, John, Barbara, Samuel, Joseph and
Benjamin in England. John and most of
the children immigrated to Massachusetts and settled in Scituate where John
married 2) Widow Anna Hammond. The
couple had six children: Barnabas,
unnamed child, Abigail, Bathsha, John and unnamed son. Rev. John moved his family to Barnstable in
1639. He is buried in Lothrop Hill
Cemetery in Barnstable.
1653 Alice (Lloyd)
House age 93 in England. The
mother-in-law of Rev. John Lathrop above was born ca. 1560 in England where she
married the Rev. John House. They had at
least one child: Hannah. John Lathrop met Hannah House when he worked
as John House’s assistant minister in Kent.
1909 Henry Cochran
in Scott Co., IN age 62, the husband of Martha Peters. He was born in Indiana in 1846.
1915 John Speer in
Crestwood, KY age 77. He was the son of
Marquis & Susan (Hinkle) Speer was born in Kentucky in 1837. John married Eliza Hall.
1965 Blanche
(Parkhill) Wilson the daughter of William & Elizabeth (Cooper) Parkhill age
69. She was born in Illinois in
1896. Blanche married Horacia Wilson and
they and a son Paul. She is buried in
Mt. Olive Cemetery in Jefferson Co., IL.
