78-year-old Patricia Ann Legg of Sims, died Sunday, January 16 at 6:27 pm at Lavender Ridge Memory Care in Mt. Vernon with her family beside her. She was an abstract worker and a retired bus driver. Pat was born in Wayne County on August 26, 1943, to Laland L. and Vivian (Morger) Robertson. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and volunteered in the community.
Patricia is survived by her son - Lanny (Stacey) Legg, twin daughters - Lana (Todd) Burner and Lisa L. Scarbrough all of Sims; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers - Bill (Doris) Robertson of Fairfield and Harold (Alene) Robertson of Geff; five sisters-in-law - Bev Robertson of Sims, Joyce Day of Mt. Carmel, Joan (Seth) Holmes of Fairfield, Kay (Larry) White and Rhonda (Charles) Vanway both of Sims.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Gerold Legg, who passed away 1 year ago, her parents, mother and father-in-law, three brothers, Jim, Bob and Danny, twin sisters Marlene and Mary and numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 19 at Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Pin Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
