this is so random that i came across this, but I'v hit a brick wall in my search from Benjamin Berryman Draper who was born circa 1772 in Botetourt County. He married a Priscilla Caton in 1800. Seeing as how Thomas Draper and Benjamin B Draper are the only Drapers we can find in Botetourt at the time, there has to be a connection....yes? You can find Benjamin B in the 1799personalA tax list in Botetourt.
Any ideas?
It may be that Thomas Draper (ca. 1755 - after 1788) was married prior to being married to Priscilla. He would be old enough to be Benjamin's father. Did Benjamin stay in Botetourt or did he move west?
