John born 1871 in Carmi, IL was the son of John & Catherine
(Burkhardt) Erkman. Mary the daughter of
Frank Wiegele was born in Straussburg, Germany in 1871. The couple had eleven children. They moved to Cottage Grove IL circa 1900.
John died in 1934 and Mary died in 1941.
They are buried in Big Ridge Cemetery, Saline Co. IL.
