Married: Leonora Linton, September 23, 1793 in Allegany County, Maryland by William Shaw of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The license was not issued in Allegany Co., MD.

1790 - not found on census, Mordecai would have been about 25 years old. His father is not found on the census either.
1800 - Allegany Co., MD census - listed as Mord Ogle family. Mordecai living with Leonora and four children under 10.
1802 - Mordecai moved his family to Muskingum Co., Ohio settling just a half mile north of Dresden.

1828 - Muskingum Co., OH, Jefferson Twp. personal tax list, 4 horses, 6 cows
1830 - Muskingum Co., OH census - Mordecai and Leonora living with four children between the ages of 10 and 19. It's difficult to know if these are their children or grandchildren.
1835 - Dec. 3, Muskingum County. An inventory of the goods of chattles of the late Mordecai Ogle Sen'r Dec'd. per Leannah Ogle Admin'x [her mark]
