Census:
1790 North Carolina - Franklin Co., 1 year old living with her parents Jeremiah & ? (--?--) Perry.

1800 North Carolina - Franklin Co., age 11 living with parents Jeremiah & ? (--?--) Perry.


1810 not found on census, she would have been 21 and had two daughters ages 2 and a newborn.

1820 not found on census, Temperance & Ezekiel were living in Rowan Co., NC.  She would have been 31 and had six children ages 1 to 12. 

1829 - Sept. 12 - Indiana - Putnam Co. - Probate of Ezekiel Parrish estate:

1830 Indiana - Putnam Co., Temperance is listed as head of household age 41.  She is living with three daughters and five sons ranging in age between new born and twenty.

1840 Indiana - Owen Co., aged 51 Temperance is listed as head of household.  She is living with three sons and a woman aged 15-20 who may be either her daughter Elizabeth or her daughter-in-law Elizabeth.

1850 Indiana - Owen Co., Temperance is 61, her real estate holdings are worth $600.  She is living with her son and daughter-in-law Ezekiel & Catherine (Gentle) Perry.

1860 Missouri - Dallas Co., Temperance is 72 married to Elijah Burton.  They are living next door to Ezekiel & Catherine (Gentle) Parrish.

1870 Illinois - Wayne Co., Temperance is 81 living with Ezekiel & Catherine (Gentle) Parrish's family.  Her surname is Parrish again.
