1844 Henry Lathrop

Henry the son of Russell & Cynthia (Powell) Lathrop was born 1817 in
Richford, VT. Rachel born 1824 in
Hadley, IL was the daughter of William & Appie (?) Laws, Sr. Henry came to
Lawrence Co. IL in 1839 where he worked as a teacher and met and married Rachel
who was his pupil. They had 10
children. Henry’s main occupation was farmer
and he amassed over 1000 acres which he eventually parceled out amongst his
kids. Rachel died in 1902 and Henry in
1903 in Richland Co. IL. They are buried
in Amity Cemetery there.
1889 John Smith
& Emma Leonard. John born 1885 in
Ingraham, IL was the son of Jacob & Margaret (Wood) Smith. Emma was his first wife. She died ca. 1890 and they had no
children. John married 2) Martha
Montgomery in 1891and 3) Effie Montoney in 1895. John had nine children and died in 1939 in
Clay Co. IL. He is buried in Dillman
Cemetery in Clay Co. IL
1958 Rick Bates
& Beverly Petty. Betty is the
daughter of Ralph & Mable (McWilliams) Petty. They were divorced b/t 1959-1964
1979 Charles Vestie
& Anita Rainwater in Channahon, IL.
Anita is the daughter Gale & Clara (Fry) Rainwater
