Warren Lee Thomason from Aurora IL (affectionately known as Bubby or Uncle Bubby), age 49, departed this earth on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. Warren was born on March 2nd, 1971 in Aurora, IL to Warren R. Thomason and Linda K. (Whitlow) Thomason.
Warren attended West Aurora High School where he participated in sports. Warren was an advanced roller skater and loved skating with his Sister and family members. He joined Painters Union 448 at age 18 as a Drywaller, working with his Dad. In 2008, he started a family owned business, Lone Wolf Drywall. He did jobs with a lot of people he considered to be good friends. He started bowling at a young age and participated on several leagues over the years. Loved going out to eat with family and working on cars. He really loved 4th of July and Halloween.
Survivors include his FiancĂ©/Significant Other of almost 19 years, Joni Ackley. Other survivors include his parents, Warren and Linda of Aurora, IL, three sons Michael Ray (Jannea) of Milwaukee, WI and Grandson Benjamin, David Alan (Kayla) of Boulder, CO and Matthew Adam of Hinckley, IL. Nephews Josh Loomis (Corrin) of Sugar Grove, IL, Shawn Loomis (Lucy) of Montgomery, IL, Nick Loomis of Aurora, IL and Niece Becca Willis (CJ) of Kingsport, TN. Also four Great Nieces and Nephews, Emmitt and Alice Willis, Wyatt and Beth Ann Loomis. Many other special family members and friends. Warren also leaves behind his beloved Rottweiler, Reaper who he liked to “howl” with and his cat, Brat.
Warren is preceded in death by his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents and Sister Beth Ann Thomason who passed in 2004. Graveside services for Warren will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield. He will be buried by his sister.
