1790 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. census, age about 20 living with Susanna and six children

1797 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. - deed from father John Dural to son David Dural 100 acres

1798 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. - deed from John Durell to David Durell 100 acres


1800 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. census, age about 30 living with Susanna, four children and probably his mother Martha. 

1801 - North Carolina, Duplin Co., Reuben Wesson bound his son Alfred to David Durall to learn the hatter's trade until age 21.

1805 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. - three deeds for 190 acres granted to David Durell

1806 - North Carolina, Duplin Co. - deeds of five pieces of land totaling 370 acres from the state of North Carolina.

1810 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - census David is about 40 years old living with Susannah with three sons and five daughters. 

1820 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - census age about 50, David is living with eight sons and four daughters, three are engaged in agriculture

1827 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - deed David & Susanna Durall sold 140 acres to Lewis Watkins for $55.

1830 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - census, age about 60, David Durall family, living with Susanna and five sons and one daughter. 

1840 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - census age about 70, David Durall family.  He is living with Susanna, probably two sons and a daughter.  The family owns slaves a male and female both aged between 10 and 23.  Three are engaged in agriculture. 

1841 - Kentucky, Muhlenberg Co. - deed to distribute David's property after his death.
This indenture made & entered into this 15th day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & forty one between Stephen Wilcox and Susannah his wife, late Susannah Durall, Alfred Morehead & Elizabeth his wife, late Elizabeth Durall, Joshua Durall & Nancy his wife, John Durall & Sarah his wife, Joshua Benton and Nancy his wife, late Nancy Durall _____ Catharine Durall and Julia Durall, David Durall and Elizabeth his wife, heirs and representatives of David Durall Sen'r. of the first part and Alexander and F.O. Durall of the second part also heirs and representatives of the said decedent. 

Witnesseth that whereas the said David Durall sen'r. deceased having departed this life intestate & the above named heirs having by agreement among themselves in order to an equitable division of the estate of said decedent and to prevent any disputes that might hereafter arise therein they the said parties of the first part have agreed with the parties of the second part that upon their (the said parties of the second part) relinquishing all claim that they have or may have in & to the estate of the said decedent to which Relinquishment the parties of the second part do hereby agree & consent.  Therefore the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the promises aforesaid do by these presents convey unto the parties of the second part & their heirs forever the following three tracts or parcels of land towit,

The first tract containing 200 acres is bounded as follows towit, beginning at a white oak and Elm James Sharp's corner opposite of James Blake and running south with said line 178 8/10 poles to 2 white oakes and dogwoods thence E 178 8/10 poles to two poplars & hickorys thence N 178 8/10 poles to the two hickorys & ash thence W 178 8/19 poles to the beginning which was conveyed to the decedent by Peter Watkins. 

The second tract containing forty acres & bounded as follows towit beginning at two white oaks & dogwood & [illegible] Charles Cessna South to [line cut off] poles to a stake on Biskell's military line then with the same E 160 poles to the corner a white oak thence N34 E 38 poles to Cessna's corner two poplars thence with Cessna's line W 180 poles to the Beginning which was deeded to the said decedant by Alney McLean.

The third tract containing ninety acres & bounded as follows towit:  Beginning at a white oak & Elm said Durall deceased's corner running thence with his line due East 179 poles to an ash & hickory said Duralls corner in a small drain thence still East four poles to an ash hickory & two dogwoods in a line of Frederick Miller's fifty acre survey thence with Miller's line N30 W 10 poles to his corner a dogwood & hickory thence with the same due N52 poles to his corner a poplar and black gum thence with the same N 61 E 88 poles to two beeches and sweet gum on a drain corner to a one hundred acre survey of said Duralls thence with his line due W 102 poles to his corner three white oaks thence South 31 W 40 poles to a white oak & post oak Isaac Cains Corner then with Cains line W 92 poles to his corner two white oaks Corner also to a fifty acre survey of John Cains thence with his line S 22 E six poles a hickory dogwood & black gum his corner thence with the same S 35 W 64 poles to the Beginning which said last tract was patented to the Said decedent with all & singular the premises & appurtenances thereunto belonging Saving thereout the widows dower in & to the said two hundred acre survey unto the said Francis O. Durall and Alexander Durall & their heirs forever to Have & to Hold the said three tracts of land described as aforesaid with the aforesaid against the claim of them said parties of the first part their heirs & C & all persons claiming by from or under them or any of their heirs Shall and will forever warrant & defend by these presents _____

In witness where of the parties of the first part have hereunto set their hand and affixed their seals the day & year within written.
