Jeremiah Perry probate records in Davidson County, NC.  Davidson county was created in 1822 from Rowan county.  Jeremiah's family probably lived in the section of Rowan that became Davidson county.

1823 Nov. 28 - Davidson Co., In obedience to annext writ, I James Wiseman, land sheriff of the county aforesaid on the 28th day of November 1823 attended by Jacob Pugh, John Jarratt, Levi Coggin, John Fine, Frederick Goss, Moses Lambeth, James Tyer, Richardson Finch, Jesse Harris sen., Jesse Harris Jun., Reuben Wright & Amos Tucker free holders in common with Temperance Perry widow of Jeremiah Perry deceased or the heirs or devisees of said Jeremiah Perry by consanguinity or affinity, & entirely disinterested by me duly summoned came in proper person to a certain plantation whereof the said Jeremiah Perry deceased died seized & possessed mentioned in the annext writ lying on the waters of Uhora [Uwharrie River] in the county aforesaid containing 254 acres more or less & the free holders aforesaid being duly sworn & required to allot & ----- set off to said Temperance Perry one third part of the aforesaid plantation included & comprised within the following limits & bounds (to wit) beginning at a stake the northwest corner of the old tract thence East 28 chains & 56 links to a black oak, thence North one chain & 45 links to a red oak, thence East 7 chains & 97 links to a post oak thence South 22 chains & 88 links to a small hickory thence West 36 chains & 51 links to a white oak on the old line thence North to the beginning containing 84 acres & 6 chains more or less & including the dwelling house or mansion of said Jeremiah Perry  dec'd. in which he most generally dwelt next before his decease & all the offices, out houses & improvements thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining which being done I the land sheriff & free holders aforesaid put the said Temperance Perry in possession of the premises.  

In witness whereof the said freeholders have hereunto set their respective hands & seals in the county aforesaid the day & year aforesaid.

1823 Nov. 28 - Davidson Co., Pursuant to an order of the worshipful of sd. county under the direction of Jacob Pugh, John Jarratt, Levi Coggin, John Fine, Frederick Goss, Moses Lambeth, James Tyre, Richardson Finch, Jesse Harris, Senr., Jesse Harris Junior, Reuben Wright & Amos Tucker.  I have laid off for Temperance Perry (widow of Jeremiah Perry, Dec'd.) her right of dower out of the lands of said Perry dec'd. lying in said county on the waters of Flat Swamp beginning at a stake on the northwest corner of the old tract.  Thence East 28 chains & 26 links to a black oak.  Thence North 1 chain & 45 links to red oak. Thence East 7 chains & 97 links to a post oak. Thence South 22 chains & 88 links to a hickory.  Thence West 36 chains & 51 links to a white oak on the old line.  Thence North to the beginning.  Containing by estimation 84 acres & 6 chains more or less, surveyed the 28th of November 1823.

1826 Sept. 14 - Rowan Co., Probate / Deed - Ezekiel Parrish and his wife Temperance, Jordan Perry, Jordan Watson & his wife Nancy, Charity Perry, Burwell Rush & his wife Frances & Reubin Wright & Temperance Perry (widow of Jeremiah Perry dec'd.) to Temperance Perry for $6.00 paid to each person, for 240 acres on Uarie [Uwharrie River] the lands of Jeremiah Perry dec'd.) whereon the widow now lives adj. Elijah Morgan & the heirs of Marshall Robards dec'd.  wit. James May, George Kepley. 

1828 Feb. 11 - Rowan Co., Probate / Deed - Temperance Perry widow of Jeremiah Perry to Philip Frank whereas the sd. John Ward & Ezekiel Parrish became the security for Temperance Perry for the guardianship for William Perry, Alfred Perry and Candace Perry legatees of Jeremiah
