1759 - Wellsville, York Co., PA -  At a monthly meeting of Warrington held the 21st of the 7th mo. 1759. The representatives all appeared.
The friends appointed to enquire into Andrew Dennon's conversation &c. informed this meeting that there is an obsticle in the way of his nassing(?) at this time, John Gruste (?) and Jacob Beals Sr. are appointed to speak to the friends and desire them to appear at next meeting and give the reason why the young couple may not proceed.
Wellsville, York Co., PA - At a monthly meeting of Warrington held the 16th of the 6th mon. 1759. The representatives all appeared.
Andrew Dennen and Rachel Blackburn both of Menallen appeared at this meeting and signified their intentions of marriage with Each other. John Wright and Jacob Ellot are appointed to make the necessary enquiry into his conversation and Cleamys [Claims?] from others on account of marriage and report to next meeting.
Wellsville, York Co., PA - At a monthly meeting of Warrington held by adjournments the 11th of the 8th mo 1759.  The representatives all appeared.
The friends appointed to treat with John Wrights and Jacob Ellots reports that they did and they appeared at this meeting and gave the reason why the marriage was not allowed to pass at Last meeting, and its appearing now to be removed they the said Andrew Dennin and Rachel Blackburn appeared at this meeting and signified that they continued their intentions of marriage with each other and nothing appearing to obstruct(?) they are left to their liberty to accomplish the same according to the good order used among friends and John Wright & Jacob Ellot are appointed to se[e] it so accomplished and make reports to next meeting and return the marriage Certificate to be recorded.
Andrew Denning offered the following paper of acknowledgement to this meeting (Viz.) To the Monthly meeting of Warrington to be held the 11th of the 8th moth 1759 - 
Whereas I have made profession of the truth as held by the people called quakers for a considerable time past, but for want of taking deligent hold to the dictates thereof, I did suffer my passion to prevail so far as to use some unbecoming words and to strike the man with whom the difference happened, and although I met with great provocation, I have since thro divine favour been made sensible hat, that ought not to excuse my misconducts, for all which I am heartily sorry and for the clearing of truth I give this as a testimony against my disorderly proceedings aforesaid and am freely willing to take the shame to my self to whom it doth belong, and desire friends may continue me under their care Andrew Dening which acknowledgements this meeting accepts and appoints John Meekle(?) to read it in a first day meeting at Menallen and return it to next meeting.

The friends appointed to attend the marriage of Andrew Dening and Rachel Blackburn reports that it was orderly accomplished and they returned the marriage certificate.
The friend appointed to read Andrew Denings Paper of acknowledgement reports state he has not done it and that it is either lost of mislaid he is continued for that service if it can be found and to report to next meeting.

The friend appointed to read Andrew Dennings paper reports that he thinks it is quite lost.
1783 - October 13 - Biglerville, Adams Co., PA - At Menallen Monthly Meeting held the 13th of the 10th Month 1783 the Representatives being Called all appeared.
The friends appointed to visit friends on the West side of the Alegenia Mountains Reports that three of them visited all the friends there who had a right amongst us and inspected into their several situations as far as they were Capable, and did not find anything in the way to hinder them from obtaining Certificates except Rebecca Allen formerly Shepherd who went out in her Marriage Whome they vilified in Company with some women friends of them Parts, and were of the mind that she was not in a Condition suitable to make satisfaction, which report being considered in this meeting is concured with, Abel John, Benjamin Wright, Daniel Grist (?), Isaac Everitt and Joseph Griest (?) are appointed to draw a testimony against Rebeccah Allen, and allso to Provide certificates for Joseph Blackburn his wife Febrorough and nine children to wit John, James, Thomas, Anthony, Joseph, Zachariah, Feboruh, Pfinly (?) and Rachel, Mary the wife of George Brannon, Elizabeth Mains, Andrew Dennin his wife Rachel and their eight children. Namely Abigail, William, Susanna, Elinor, Rachel, John, Anthony and Joseph, Solomon Shepherd his wife Margaret and their nine children Viz. Jean, John, Solomon, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, Sarah, Benjamin and Thomas and Anthony Blackburn. Directed to Hopewell Monthly Meeting and Produce them to Next Meeting.
1786 - Sep. 4 - Clear Brook, Frederick Co., VA - At Hopewell Mo. meeting held the 4th of the 9th mo. 1786 the representatives being called all appeared.
There being a number of Certificates produced to this meeting for friends living over the Allegany Mountain, within the verge of Westland mo. meeting which for want of the necessary information, was not received before the division of that meeting from this, But upon enquiry of a committee of that meeting, their report being produced to this, signed by Amos Hough, clerk therof, it appears there is no objection against receiving of Certificates for the following Named Friends, Viz, Anthony Blackburn, Joseph Blackburn & Deborah his wife & eight children viz. James, Thomas, Anthony, Joseph, Zachariah, Deborah, Phinly, & Rachel. Susannah Mitchel, & three children Viz. Thomas, Mary & Samuel, Mary Brannen, Solomon Shepherd wife Margaret, & nine children viz. Jane, John, Solomon, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph, Sarah, Benjamin and Thomas, Elizabeth Main, James McGrew & Jane his wife, Andrew Dennin, Rachel his wife and seven children, Viz, William, Susannah, Eleanor, Rachel, John, Anthony & Joseph, Thomas Gregg & Amy his wife, & their children, whose names are not mentioned Ann Lewillen, Margaret Lowillen, Phebe Mipis(?), Marrah Cadwaller, Hannah Pik, Tamer Coulson, widow, Margaret Anderson. The clerk is directed to send a copy of this Minute with the certificates to friends of Westland Mo. meeting, deserving their further necessary care & sign the same on behalf of this meeting.
1787 - Centerville, Crawford Co., PA - At Westland Monthly Meeting held by adjournment the 15th of the 1st Month 1787, the Representatives being called were present as heretofore.
A minute from Hopewell Monthly Meeting [Clear Brook, VA] was produced to this, being as follows. 
There being a number of Certificates produced to this Meeting for Friends living over the Allegany Mountain within the Verge of Westland Monthly Meeting, which for want of the necessary information was not received before the Division of that Meeting from this; but on enquiry of a committee of that meeting their report being produced to this signed by Amos Hough Clerk therof, it appears there is no objection against receiving of Certificates for the following named friends Vis. Anthony Blackburn, Joseph Blackburn, Deborah his wife and nine children, namely, John, James, Thomas, Anthony, Joseph, Zachariah, Deborah, Finley and Rachel, Susanna Mitchel and three children Thomas, Mary and Samuel; Mary Brannen, Solomon Shepherd, Margaret his wife and nine children namely Jane, John, Solomon, Elisabeth, Mary, Joseph, Sarah, Benjamin and Thomas; Elisabeth Mains; James McGrew and Jane his wife; Andrew Dinnen, Rachel his wife and eight children namely Abigail, William, Susanna, Eleaor, Rachel, John, Anthony and Joseph; Thomas Gregg, Amy his wife and six children, Viz. Nimrod, Elisabeth, Dinah, Samuel, Ruth and John; Margaret Lewellin, Ann Lewellin, Phebe, Myres, Hannah Peck, Tamar Coulson widow and Margaret Anderson and the Clerk is directed to send a copy of this Minute with the Certificates to Westland Monthly Meeting desiring their further necessary care and sign the name on behalf of this. 
Extracted from the minutes of Hopewell Monthly Meeting held the 4th of the 9th month 1786 and signed behalf of the same by -- James Mendenhall, Clk. Which being read it was thought best the certificates be lodged with the clerk until the Persons they are for attend this meeting or send reasons for their inabilitiy and the overseers are desired to inform them thereof as soon as convenient.
[It seems that members from the Menallen & Hopewell Monthy Meetings moved  on to Centerville to establish the Westland Monthly Meeting. The Dennens and Blackburns were among those who moved west.]  
1788 - Sept. 27 - At Westland Monthly Meeting the 27th of the 9th Month 1788. The Representatives are John Jenkinson, John Heald, Jonas Cattell and Thomas Jones who being called were all present. 
#8 This Meeting by way of Women Friends being informed that Rachel Dinnen have thoughts of removing with her Family to Kentucky Settlement and desires this Meeting may be acquainted therewith; John Coope, James Parviance, Ebenezer Walker, John Cowzens and Abraham Smith are appointed to unite with Women Friends in taking an opportunity with the Family, who are desired to feel after the Motive and propriety of such a movement, to give such advice and counsel as they may be abilitated to do in the Wisdom of truth and report next Monthly Meeting.
Andrew is not mentioned in this record so I think he may have been deceased.  A couple of their children married out of the Quaker faith.

Rachel b. ca. 1767, md. (--?--) May 1788 - At Westland Monthly Meeting the 25th of the 10th Month 1788, Representatives are David England, Henry Mills, Finley McGrew and Ebenezer Walker who being called all appeared.
#2 The service in Rachel May's Case is performed and the Testimony returned as directed which is as follows, Viz.
A Testimony against Rachel May late Dinnen who hath had a birthright amongst us the People called Quakers, but for want of giving her to the dictates of Trusth in her own heart, hath accomplished her Marriage by the Assistance of a Magistrate to a Man not of our Society; for which Conduct she hath been tenderly treated with in Love, but not having the desired effect, therefore this Meeting doth disown her the said Rachel May to be no longer a Member of our Religious Society until she by true repentance and Amendment of Life, condemn her Misconduct to the Satisfaction of this Meeting; which is desired on her behalf.  Given forth at Westland Monthly Meeting held the 27th of the 9th Month 1788 and Signed of behalf of the same by Jos. Townsend Clk.
