Harold born 1916 in Wayne City, IL was the son of Henry & Edna
(Gurley) Erkman. Iva the daughter of
Clarence & Marybelle (Fitzgerald) Colclasure was born in Sailor Springs, IL
in 1922. Iva died in 1940 from
complications of giving birth to their only daughter. She is buried in Thomason Cemetery, Wayne
City, IL. Harold enlisted in the
army and died at Monte Casino Abbey, Italy
in 1944. He was buried in a temporary military cemetery
in Italy. The bodies of servicemen were
disinterred in 1948 and shipped back to the United States for burial. He was buried next to Iva in Thomason
Cemetery.
