You are hereby required as soon as may be to lay off and Survey for George March a tract or parcel of Land Containing four hundred acres lying in the County aforesaid on the Waters of Dutchman's Creek joining Chritopher Konatze, jacob Hunter, Including his Improvement and Rudolph March's for Quantity is being part of an old entry made by Rudolph March Senr. 

Observing the directions of the act of Assembly in such case made and provided for ------ out Lands ---- just & fair plans of Such Survey with a proper Certificate ----- to each you are to transmit with this Warrant to the Secretary's Office without delay.

Nyphong's corner South forty eight chains To a Black Jack Grub on Christopher Knatzer's line Thence east along his line eighteen chains & half to a White Oak his corner on Hanalies line. Thence North along that line Seventy nine chains to a Hycory on Elisabeth Admies Line, thence West eleven chains to a post oak her corner along her line north Twenty five chains to a post oak. West Twenty eight & and half chains to a hykory on John Brunts line along his line South Seven chains to a Spanis[h] Oak his corner along his line West Twenty five chains to a Hykory  forty nine chains To a State Thence east to Beginning containing four Hundred Acres  Surveyed January the Thirty first day 1783 By Griffith Rutherford C. 1779 - Sep. 27 - Marriage Bond, Rowan Co., NC reads: 

"State of North Carolina, Rowan County} Know all men by these presents that we George Marche & Rudolph Marche of the County and State aforesaid, are held and firmly bound to the State aforesaid in the just and full sum of Five hundred pounds current money; for the just and true payment whereof we jointly and severally bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administers, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated the twenty sixth day of September An Dom 1779. The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above named George Marche & Rudolph Marche hath made application for a License for a marriage to be celebrated between him and Amelia Gardner of the County aforesaid, according to an act of assembly of this State. Now if it shall not appear at any time hereafter that there is any lawfull cause to obstruct said marriage, then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. 1783 - Oct. 10 - Rowan County - State Grant #474 at 50 shillings the 100 acres to George March for 400 acres on Dutchmans Creek adjoining Barbara & Mary Nyfong, Christopher Knotzer, Elizabeth Admire & John Brunts.

1804 - A George March md. Mary Leneer, 6 July 1804, Hezekiah Smith, bondsman. Jn. March, JP; Moses Nelson wit. George would have been 49 years of age.  It's possible that Mary Leneer/Lennere was a widow and brought children into the household. 

"State of North Carolina, Rowan County} Know all men by these presents, that we George March & Hezekiah Smith in the State aforesaid, are held and firmly bound unto the Governor of the State of North Carolina for the time being, in the just and full sum of Five Hundred Pounds, current money of this State, to be paid to the said Governor, or his successors or assigns: To the which payment well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 6th day of July Anno Dom. 1804. The Condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas the above bounden George March hath made application for a License for a marriage to be celebrated between him and Mary Lennere of the county aforesaid. Now is case it shall not appear hereafter, that these is any lawful cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
