Hunt, Jaley - Estate of. The prosecuting attorney filed a suit, 1895 against the heirs of Jaley Hunt. Named as defendants are: Reuben Hunt, Maranda Hunt, John A. Hunt, Bazel W. Hunt, Henry C. Hunt, Lidia Dow, Sarah E. Sizen, Mary A Kersey, and Nancy J. Dull [Dove]. Box 169. File 38.
Nancy's exact death date is unknown because there is no extant death certificate and she has no tombstone. Her last known child was born in 1885 and William was married to Alice Goss on Sept. 23, 1891. Lucinda Heath filed an affidavit in support of Alice (Goss) Jones Dove's widows pension application stating that she knew Nancy Dove and that she was at home of William Dove when Nancy Dove lay a corpse and saw Nancy Dove after she was dead. There is a grave outline next to William Dove's tombstone which I think is Nancy's grave.
