Were the Dirrets and Fitzgeralds related? 

1763 - June 22 - Orange Co. & Albemarle Co., VA - James & Mary Fitzgerald sold 200 acres to Charles Douglas for £16, on the Branches of Pretty's Creek, bounded by James Isbell, Benjamin Winn & William Sims. 

1763 - June 23 - Orange Co. & Albemarle Co., VA - Indenture between James & Mary Fitzgarrel to Isaac Crosthwait for £15, grant 100 acres lying in Orange & Albemarle counties on the Branch of Pritties Creek, bounded by James Isbell, Benjamin Winn & John Ripetoo, recorded the same day.  

1780 - Sep. 28 - Orange Co., VA - Deed between Isaac Crossthwaite & Hopewell Wood lists James Fitzgerald as owning land bounding this property.
