Dean Chauncey Wilson, 61, was called to his eternal resting place on February 1, 2021 at his home in Riviera, Texas. He was born in Concord, California on April 11, 1959 to Josephine "JoAnn" Spielmann Wilson and Dean Harlane Wilson. He was raised in Manchester, Iowa. He joined the Navy after graduating high school and served 11 years and continued to serve his country working with various military contractors and traveled worldwide. He loved all animals and raising cattle at his ranchito.
He is preceded in death by his mother JoAnn Wilson and his sister Jody Brighton.
Dean is survived by his wife of 36 years Rebecca Schubert Wilson; father Dean Harlane Wilson; brother John Wilson; children Chauncey (Berenice) Wilson and daughter Cassie (Michael) Stastney; grandchildren Wesley, Sawyer, Bowen and Cylas; and many extended family members.
Visitation will begin 2:00 pm., February 7, 2021 with a Rosary beginning at 4:00 pm. Interment service will be held February 8, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pallbearers: Jeremy Wilson, Roddy Huberty, Lee Schubert, Robert Schubert, Bruce Schubert and Victor Garcia.
