1700 - Germany - birth of Anna Flys Layen
ca. 1715 - Johan Hendrick Kalcklőser left Frankenthal at age 19 to join Alexander Mack's group in Schwarzenau (Wittgenstein), due to religious persecution in Frankenthal. Mack was leader and first minister of the Schwarzenau Brethren / German Baptists in the Schwarzenau, Wittgenstein community of modern-day Bad Berleburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He founded the group in 1708.
1719 - Philadelphia, PA - a branch of the Schwarzenau Brethren led by Peter Becker arrived in Philadelphia and settled in Germantown.
1720 - Alexander Mack and several other of the Brethren emigrated to Surhuisterveen, West Friesland, Netherlands. Johan Hendrick Kalcklőser said to be with this group, taking refuge among Mennonites.

1724-1729 - Netherlands - birth of 3 sons Jacob, Emmanuel & Christophel and probable death of Anna Flys (Layen) Kalcklőser, some say she died in 1759. May have had son John Jacob Kalcklőser in this time frame.
ca. 1729 - Johann Hendrick Kalcklőser md. Agnes / Anna Margaretha (--?--). This woman was listed on the passenger list.
1729 - Jul - Alexander Mack & about 30 Brethren family immigrated from Rotterdam to Philadelphia and settled in Germantown.

The relationship between the early Kalcklősers in Eastern Pennsylvania and John & Abraham in Westmoreland Co., PA has not been proven, but it is believed by some that one or possibly two generations separates them.
