Bonnie Holler, 88 of Fairfield passed away at 1:10 PM, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Bonnie was born on June 16, 1932 in Wayne County to Albert and Grace (Butler) Lathrop and married Ivan Holler on October 22, 1949. She had been an assistant teacher at Center Street School and was a teacher at the American International School in Bangladesh. Bonnie was a longtime member of the Community of Christ Church, where she had been a lay minister and Sunday school teacher, and loved her family and church family very much. She had also been president of the Fairfield Women's Club for many years. 

Bonnie's survivors include her husband Ivan of Fairfield, daughter Jackie (Phil) Hogue of Troy, IL, sons Dennis (Judy Sabbert) Holler of Overland Park, KS and Mark (Sue) Holler of Jacksonville, FL, 5 grandchildren - Rachael Guttman, Jennifer Hogue, Ryan Holler, Nicholas Holler and Brandon Holler, 4 great grandchildren - Connor & Aden Guttmann and Nora & Garrett Holler, and sisters Barbara Bolton of Fairfield and Betty Porter of Chattanooga, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorothy Utley and brother Bill, Jim and Bob Lathrop. 

There will be an outdoor lakeside funeral service for Bonnie at Brush Creek Campground at 2 PM Saturday, October 24th with burial to follow in Brush Creek Cemetery.  There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. Everyone attending the service is asked to follow State of Illinois and CDC Guidelines for wearing a mask and social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID19.  In lieu of flowers memorial in her honor may be made to Brush Creek Campground and will be accepted at the service or Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
