Immigration: between April and August 1736 from Armagh, Ireland to Adams Co. Pennsylvania with her parents and siblings.

1736 - Aug. 30 - Menhallen Meeting, Adams Co., PA - John Blackburn, wife and children received 8 Mo. 30, 1736, dated 4 Mo. 2, 1736 from Ballyhagen Meeting, County Armagh, Ireland.

1759 - July 21 - Warrington Meetinghouse, Warrington Twp., York Co., PA - At a monthly meeting of Warrington held the 21st of the 7th mo. 1759. The representatives all appeared.
The friends appointed to enquire into Andrew Dennon's conversation &c. informed this meeting that there is an obsticle in the way of his nassing/naping(?) at this time, John Gruste (?) and Jacob Beals Sr. are appointed to speak to the friends and desire them to appear at next meeting and give the reason why the young couple may not proceed.
1759 - August 10 - Warrington Meetinghouse, Warrington Twp., York Co., PA - At a monthly meeting of Warrington held by adjournments the 11th of the 8th mo 1759.  The representatives all appeared.
The friends appointed to treat with John Wrights and Jacob Ellots reports that they did and they appeared ate this meeting and gave the reason why the marriage was not allowed to pass at Last meeting, and its appearing now to be removed they the said Andrew Dennin and Rachel Blackburn appeared at this meeting and signified that they continued their intentions of marriage with each other and nothing appearing to obstruct(?) they are left to their liberty to accomplish the same according to the good order used among friends and John Wright & Jacob Ellot are appointed to se it so accomplished and make reports to next meeting and return the marriage Certificate to be recorded.
Andrew Denning offered the following paper of acknowledgement to this meeting (Viz.) To the Monthly meeting of Warrington to be held the 11th of the 8th moth 1759 - 
Whereas I have made profession of the truth as held by the people called quakers for a considerable time past, but for want of taking deligent hold to the dictates thereof, I did suffer my passion to prevail so far as to use some unbecoming words and to strike the man with whom the difference happened, and although I met with great provocation, I have since thro divine favour been made sensible that, that ought not to excuse my misconducts, for all which I am heartily sorry and for the clearing of truth I give this as a testimony against my disorderly proceedings aforesaid and am freely willing to take the shame to my self to whom it doth belong, and desire friends may continue me under their care Andrew Dening which acknowledgements this meeting accepts and appoints John Meekle(?) to read it in a first day meeting at Menallen and return it to next meeting.
1759 - Aug. 16 - Warrington Meethinghouse, Warrington Twp., York, PA -  At a monthly meeting of Warrington held the 16th of the 6th mon. 1759. The representatives all appeared.
Andrew Dennen and Rachel Blackburn both of Menallen appeared at this meeting and signified their intentions of marriage with Each other. John Wright and Jacob Ellot are appointed to make the necessary enquiry into his conversation and Cleamys [Claims?] from others on account of marriage and report to next meeting.
1759 - September 15 - Warrington Meethinghouse, Warrington Twp., York, PA -  At a meeting of Warrington held the 15th of the 9th mo 1759
The friends appointed to attend the marriage of Andrew Dening and Rachel Blackburn reports that it was orderly accomplished and they returned the marriage certificate.
The friend appointed to read Andrew Denings Paper of acknowledgement reports state he has not done it and that it is either lost of mislaid he is continued for that service if it can be found and to report to next meeting.
 1787 - June 9 - Centerville, Crawford Co., PA - At Westland Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held the 9th of the 6th Month 1787.
Rachel Denen appeared here with a Certificate Jointly with her Husband and eight Children namely Abigail, William Susanna, Eleanor, Rachel, John, Anthony and Joseph from Menallen Monthly Meeting dated 10 of 11th Month 1783 which were read and received being mentioned in a minute from Hopewell Monthly Meeting.
1788 - September 27 - Washington Co., PA - At Westland Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held the 27 of 9th Month 1788 the representatives are Mary England, Sarah Hutton, Elizabeth Hews and Rebecca Jackson who being called all appeared.
Redstone Preparative Meeting informs this that Rachel Dinnen proposes moving with her Family to Canetucky Ruth Cadwallader and Mary Coope are appointed to join men friends in taking a solid opportunity with her and report of their care to our next Monthly meeting.
At Westland Monthly Meeting the 27th of the 9th Month 1788. The Representatives are John Jenkinson, John Heald, Jonas Cattell and Thomas Jones who being called were all present. 
#8 This Meeting by way of Women Friends being informed that Rachel Dinnen have thoughts of removing with her Family to Kentucky Settlement and desires this Meeting may be acquainted therewith; John Coope, James Parviance, Ebenezer Walker, John Cowzens and Abraham Smith are appointed to unite with Women Friends in taking an opportunity with the Family, who are desired to feel after the Motive and propriety of such a movement, to give such advice and counsel as they may be abilitated to do in the Wisdom of truth and report next Monthly Meeting.
1788 - October 25 - Washington Co., PA - At Westland Monthly Meeting of Women Friends held the 25th of the 10th Month 1788. The representatives are Sarah Rigg, Elisabeth Faulkner, Mary Garwood and Mary Coope who being called all appeared.
3 The Friends appointed in Rachel Dinnen case report that one of them in company with Men Friends had an opportunity with her and she continuing her intention of moving they are continued for further service with the addition of Elisabeth Wilson and to report to our next Monthly Meeting.
At Westland Monthly Meeting the 25th of the 10th Month 1788, Representatives are David England, Henry Mills, Finley McGrew and Ebenezer Walker, who being called all appeared.  
#3 Although some care has been taken in Rachel Dinnen's case yet as the service is not fully performed, the Committee are continued except John Coope and to report next Monthly Meeting.
1788 - November 22 - Washington Co., PA - At Westland Monthly Meeting of Women Friends the 22nd of the 11th month 1788 the representatives are Sarah Rigg, Jemima Townsend, Elisabeth Cattel and Ruth Cadwallader who being called all appaeared.
The Committee in Rachel Dinnens case are continued as heretofore they being prevented of having an opportunity by her absence from home.
At Westland Monthly Meeting the 22nd of the 11th Month 1788, Representatives are Henry Dixon, Israel Wilson, Josiah Crawford and James Parviance who being called all answered. 
#4 the Friends in Rachel Dinnen's case are continued as heretofore, they being prevented having an opportunity with her by reason of her absence from Home. 
1788 - December 27 - Washington Co., PA -  At Westland Monthly Meeting of Women Friends the 27th of 12th Month 1788. The representatives are Sarah Couzens, Sarah Samm(?), Marah Cadwallader and Amy Gregg who being called all appeared except Amy Gregg for whose absence sufficient reasons were given.
One of the Friends appointed in Rachel Dinnens case report the service is performed.
At Westland Monthly Meeting the 27th of the 12th Month 1788 Representatives are Henry Smith, Joshua Dion, Obed Garwood and Jonathan Hewitt, who were all present. 
#5 the Committee in Rachel Dinnen's case report three of them had an opportunity with her since last meeting and complied with their appointment.

1820 - Indiana - Orange Co. - Rachel was a widow aged 85. She most likely is living with her daughter Abigail and son-in-law Abraham Colclasure.   1 male 45+ Abraham was 52, 2 females 45+ Abigail aged 59 and Rachel.
