Lathrop Reunion
Howard Dale Lathrop, Gene Austin & George Lathrop
Yesterday we gathered at the Gathering near Fairfield for the Lathrop family reunion.
Hi! My name is Leona Lucille Lothrop (born Lathrop). I was born in Lawrenceville, IL to Rev & Mrs. Ed Lathrop. Dad's family came from Knox County Illinois. His father was Rev. Frank Hill Lathrop, son of Elias T Lathrop, all of Knox County. I'd love to know if there is any connection to anyone in your group. Thanks!
I'm sure we are related, but I'm not sure how. I checked the Lo-Lathrop book, but didn't find an Elias that moved to Illinois. Do you happen to know his parents or grandparents. Lawrence County was where our grandfather Russell settled ca. 1840. I don't know all his siblings, so it's possible that there's a connection that brought your family down to Lawrence Co.
