1787 - November 14 - Orange Co., VA - Stephen Fitzgerrell md. Catherine Bruce. Surety William Fitzgerrell. Wit: Jacob Ahart.  Stephen, son of James Fitzgerrell. 

1790 - not found on census, probably living in Virginia

1800 not found on census

1801 - a James Fitzgerald appears on tax list in Franklin Co., KY


1810 - not listed on census, probably in Gibson Co., IN

1820 - Gibson Co., IN age 70, James Fitz Jerral family.  Catherine is living with James, probably their son Reuben and a girl aged 10-16.  This may be Reuben's wife or a grandchild.

1830 - Gibson Co., IN age 80, James FitzGerald family.  Catherine is living with James and a male 50-60 probably one of their sons.
