In Memoriam February 3rd

1849 Peter Saltzman in Pulaski County, MO age 84 was born in either Pennsylvania or Kentucky in 1765.  His first wife is unknown, they had two children.  He married Catherine Bailey in 1802 in Bullitt Co., KY and had four children.  Peter lived in Grayson County, Kentucky for many years and migrated to Pulaski County, MO ca. 1835.  Peter was a doctor.  He is buried in Arroll Cemetery in Arroll, MO.  Mom and I went on a wild ride to find this cemetery in 2011.  It is in the middle of nowhere in the Ozarks. 

1945 Mont Lathrop in Illinois age 64 the son of Albert & Otelia (Hostetler) Lathrop.  He was born in Lawrence Co., IL and was a school teacher and a farmer.  Mont married Daisy (Caudle) Van Gilder in 1907 and they had ten children.  He is buried in Sumner Cemetery in Sumner IL.

1953 John Wesley Smith at age 76.  He was born Sep. 8, 1876 the son of James & Elizabeth (Boliger) Smith.  He married Sophia Schmidt in 1904 and they had six children.

1954 Lillie Crumbacher in Clay Co., IL age 78.  The daughter of James & Nancy (Gentle) Crumbacher, she was born in Wayne Co., IL Feb. 15, 1875.  She married first John Fraim in 1894 at age 19.  After their divorce, Lillie married J. Allen Robertson.  They had no children.  She is buried in Gunion Cemetery in Wayne Co., IL.

2009 Leone (Keen) Caudle Robertson age 69 in Mt. Vernon, IL.  She was born Aug. 13, 1939 in Wayne Co., IL the daughter of Clyde & Dorothy (Shaw) Keen.  She married 1) Buzzy Caudle and had a son Jerry and 2) Bob Robertson and had Michael, Robbie, Todd, Shari, Latisa, Lawana, Scott and Tony Robertson.
