1646 John Steele
& Mercy Warner in Hartford, Connecticut.
John was born 1625 in Essex, England and died 1654 in Farmington,
Connecticut. He was the son of John
& Rachel (Talcott) Steele. His
family immigrated from England ca. 1631.
They lived in Cambridge, MA until 1636 when they became one of the
founding families of Hartford. The family
moved to Farmington Connecticut in 1645.
Mercy & John Steele had 6 known children.
1794 Abraham
Goodnight & Mary Hanna in Lincoln County, Kentucky. Abraham was born in Mecklenburg County, North
Carolina, the son of Hans Michael & Mary (Landis) Goodnight. Hans Michael moved his family to present day
Boyle County near Harlan’s Station in 1781.
Abraham moved his family to Simpsonville, Kentucky in 1806.
