Cristal Elaine Dugger, 71, of Thompsonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on, Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. 

Cristal was born on May 24, 1952, in Mt. Vernon, to LaVern and Frieda (Shields) Shaw. She was unied in marriage to William Noble Dugger Jr. on August 31, 1974, in Wayne Ciy. They shared 44 years of marriage together, before he preceded her in death on July 12, 2018.

Cristal was a 1970 graduae of Lyons Township High Shcool in Lagrange. She was retired having been a store clerk at Dollar General and the Country Store in Thompsonville. 

Cristal loved the Lord and was a longime dedicated member at Thompsonville Church of God. She was always ready to volunteer and get involved in church activities. Cristal was creative and enjoyed crafting and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren 

Cristal is survived by her two children, William "Bryan" (Kathy) Dugger of West Frankfort and Channa LeeAnn Dugger of Thompsonville; four grandchildren, Bryanna (Dalton) Swan, Billy Dugger, Addison Dugger and Devon Dugger; one great-grandchild, Miles Swan; brother Dennis (Judy) Shaw of Wayne City; special nieces and nephew Sarah (Kevin) Clark, Jodie (Josh) Kelly, and Jake (Andrea) Shaw. She is also survived by several great-nieces, nephews, and her beloved dog Charlie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant sister, Linda Shaw.

A celebration of life will be 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Pastor Brian Mixon officiating.
