Ahnentafel #856 - (--?--) Durall
(--?--) Durall Some say Jean Baptiste Durell of southern France who immigrated to New Orleans. Some say David Durell who married (--?--) Roby. Born: ca. 1724 Died: between 1784 & 1790 Buried: unknown Married: Rhoda (--?--) before 1750 Records: There are two Durells, David & Stephen in the Revolutionary War from Pennsylvania. It is thought that they may have been the sons of this Durall. 1784 - Duplin Co., North Carolina - Ordered that John Dural in Capt. Whitehead's Company exempted from militia duty. Men were exempted after age 60. This could be our man, but there aren't enough records to confirm it. 1790 - Duplin Co., NC - census - there is an entry for Roby Durele, head of household and only 3 females in the home. This could be Rhoda (--?--) Durall and an indication that John(?) was deceased. Children: John
