Ahnentafel #140 - Thomas Harbert
Thomas Harbert/Herbert Born: ca. 1735, London, England Died: possibly after 1820 in Fayette Co., PA Buried: Unknown Married: Sarah (--?--) before 1760
Records: There are at least two baptismal records in Middlesex County, England for a Thomas Herbert:
1736, July 24 - son of Richard & Ann (--?--) Herbert at St. James Church, Clerkenwell Parish, Islington Borough of Middlesex
1737, Aug. 6 - son of Thomas & Susanna (--?--) Harbert at St. Andrew Church, Holborn Parish, Camden, London
1800 - Pennsylvania, Greene Co. age about 65 a Thomas Harbor household with eight children. 1810 - Pennsylvania, Fayette Co. age about 75 a Thomas Harbert household with two sons and Sarah 1820 - Pennsylvania, Fayette Co. age about 85, Thomas may be living with his son Samuel's family. There is a male listed as 45+. It is possible that this is Samuel's father-in-law.
Children: John b. 1760 Ebenezer James b. 1775, Samuel b. 1778 Richard b. 1782 md. Margaret (--?--)
Henry b. 1824, d. 1893 md. Margaret (--?--) children: William, George, Thomas, Mary, Ann, Mary Newell adopted, Martha adopted
