1840 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 23 living with Andrew and  two children ages 2 and 3.

1850 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 32, living with Andrew and five children ages 1 month to 13 and two servants, one 18 farm hand and one 21 female house servant.

1855 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 38, living with Andrew and six children.  There is a woman aged 60-70 who may be Hester's mother Susannah.

1860 Illinois, Middleton, Wayne Co. - age 42, living with Andrew and four children ages 4 to 16.

1865 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 48 living with Andrew and four children

1870 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 52 living with Andrew, daughter Frances and Hester's mother Susan Bradford

1880 Illinois, Wayne Co. - age 63 living with her daughter's family.  Frances married Issac Rose and they had two children.  There is also a 16 year old female mulatto servant in the home.
