She was the daughter of John & Sarah (Stout) Runyon born in Kentucky
in 1825. Sarah married Francis Peters
and they had eight children: George, Sarah, James, Mary, Robert, Louisa,
Albert, and Emma. She is buried in Bethel-Harris Cemetery in
Seymour, IL.
