In Memoriam - November 5th

1676 Louisa Wagner in Germany.  The daughter of Ludwig Wagner and with of Othmar Dentzer.  She and Othmar had at least one child: Anna.

1880 Charles Morehead son of Turner & Mary (Hooe) Morehead born in Fauquier Co., VA in 1800.  He married Fanny Warder and they had fifteen children:  John, Louisa, William, Harriet, Anna, Charles, Frances, James, Benjamin, Catherine, Jerusha, Henry, Mary, Edward, Robert and Kate.

1907 Anna (Runyon) Speer in Wayne City, IL age 60.  She was born in Jefferson Co., KY in 1846 the daughter of James & Nancy (Young) Runyon.  Anna married Charles Speer and they had eleven children:  Lou, James, Ella, Daisy, Maurice, Lida, Alberta, William, Weaver, Roger and Luther.  She is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Oldham Co., KY.

1946 Susan (Erkman) Kallenbach in Crossville, IL the daughter of John & Catherine (Burkhardt) Erkman.  She was born in White Co., IL in 1867.  Susan married Samuel Kallenbach and they had four children:  Lawrence, Marcus, Ruth and Arthur. She is buried in Burnt Prairie Twp., White Co., IL.

1961 John Erkman age 71 in McLeansboro, IL.  He was born in Hamilton Co. in 1890 the son of George & Anna (Hahn) Erkman.  He married Anna Heady in 1913 and they had eight children:  Fredia, Jessie, John, Edith, William, Opal, Wilburn and Wilma. 

1985 Former Wayne County resident, Vernie Colclasure 76 of Plainfield died Tuesday, November 5, 1985 at 6 a.m. in a Joliet hospital of an apparent heart attack. 
Mr. Colclasure was the father of Mrs. Arnold (Carmen) Wood, of Geff and the brother of Mrs. Laura Murray, of Fairfield and Mrs. Harvey (Delores) Burton, of Burnt Prairie.
Funeral services were held Thursday (today) at Overman Chapel in Plainfield.  Burial followed there.
Mr. Colclasure was born January 20, 1909 in Louisville, the son of Clarence and Mary Fitzgerald Colclasure.  He was married to the former Edith Cates.
Mr. Colclasure lived in Wayne County for many years and was a former Airtex employee.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Colclasure of Plainfield; two daughtes, Mrs. Arnold (Carmen) Wood of Geff; and Mrs. Victor (Irene) Hutchinson, of Rockford; two sons, Ray and Raymond, both of Plainfield; one stepson Ronald Harris of Channalon; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Murray, of Fairfield; and Mrs. Harvey (Delores) Burton, of Burnt Prairie; and one brother, Dale Colclasure, of Romeoville.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and two sisters.
1990 Alta Fitzgerald age 88 son of Stewart & Mary (Barnett) Fitzgerald.  Alta was born ca. 1902 in Clay Co., IL.  He married Hester Osrey and they had three children:  Mary, Helen and Bernie.
