1665 Abigail Rockwell in Windsor, CT, the daughter of Samuel & Mary (Norton) Rockwell was 8 months old.

1921 Rachel (Belding) Waskom age 88 in Indiana.  Born in Jackson Co., IN in 1832 she married James Waskom in 1851.  Rachel is buried in Waskom Cemetery in Indiana.

1936 Everett Osborn age 39 the son of Louis & Idella (Roberson) Osborn was born in Wayne Co., IL in 1896.  Everett married Jennie Clemens ca. 1922.

1977 William Harbourt age 91.  He was born in 1885 and married Mildred Runyon in 1907.

1999  Dale E. Snyder Sr., 74, of Farina died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, May 3, 1999 at St Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pagel Funeral Home, Edgewood, with burial in Iola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to Farina Ambulance Service.

Mr. Snyder was born February 27, 1925 in LaClede Township, Fayette County, the son of William O. and Minerva J. (Fitzgerald) Snyder. He married Eva A. Jewell in 1947.

He was a retired steel worker of U.S, Steel with 36 years of service, and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Farina.

Survivors are his wife, Eva; son William O. of British Columbia, Canada; daughter, Mrs. Lester (Sheila) Shreve of Portage, Indiana; brother, Ralph F. of St.Elmo; sister, Mrs. Jim(Virginia) Farr of Milton, Florida; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, a brother, a sister and a grandchild.
