In Memoriam May 14th

1675 Mary Loomis age 1 the daughter of Deacon John & Elizabeth (Scott) Loomis.

1778 Priscilla Bradford daughter of Joseph & Anna (Fitch) Bradford age 76.  She was born in Norwich, CT in 1702.

1884 James Gurley in Massac Co., IL age 17.  James was born in Illinois in 1866 the son of Willis & Elizabeth (Yandle) Gurley and is buried in Gurley Cemetery in Massac Co., IL.

1905 Winifred (Chenoweth) Hardin age 73.  She was born in Indiana in 1831 and married Aaron Hardin in 1850.  The couple had eight children: William, John, Ellen, Stevens, Aaron, Mary, Florence and Eva.

1918 Nova Lee Anderson 93, of Keenes, died 4:30 p.m. May 14, 2012 at her home in Keenes.

She was born May 18, 1918, in Keenes, the daughter of John and Ruth (Swan) Crumbacher.  She married Loran Anderson; he preceded her in death 2002.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by a daughter Patsy Scarbrough of Johnsonville; three grandchildren, Mark Baker of Louisville, Ky., Mike Baker of  Keenes and Lisa Youngblood of Keenes; two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons and one great-grandchild, Josh Baker.

She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with the Rev. Russ Beadles officiating.  Burial will be at Ten Post Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

2013 Ruby (Lathrop) Shelton daughter of Joel & Louisa (Dove) Lathrop age 96 in Mt. Vernon, IL.  She was born in Wayne Co., IL in 1917 and married Howard Shelton in 1935.  They had three children: Harold, Ronald, and Marilyn.  Ruby is buried in Mt. Zion / Farnsworth Cemetery in Wayne Co., IL.
