In Memoriam April 5th

1609 Jacob Perkins age 1 the son of Henry & Elizabeth (Sawbridge) Perkins in England.

1718 Jane (Baldridge) Overall in Westmoreland Co., VA age 66.  She was the daughter of James & Dorothy (Cooke) Baldridge born c.a 1652 in Virginia.  She married William Overal ca. 1680 and they had at least one child: William. 

1915 Lena (Ehrhardt) Logan age 27 the son of John & Louisa (Dietz) Ehrhardt.  She was born in 1887 and married John Logan in 1907.  They had three children: Louise, George and Mary. 

1999 Nola June (Hood) Austin Mrs. Nola June Austin 59, of Morton died at 12:10 p.m. Monday Apr. 5, 1999 in that city.

She was a former Wayne City area resident and was married there Nov. 20, 1955 to Donald Gene Austin.

Funeral rites were conducted Thursday afternoon (today) from the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at Wayne City, with Rev. Howard Bedell officiating.  Interment was in Farnsworth Cemetery, Wayne City.  The Ludwig Rorhschneider Mortuary at Morton was in charge of arrangements.  Visitation was held Wednesday evening at that funeral home and at the church prior to the service today.

She was born in St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 12, 1939, the daughter of Noel and Goldie Brunner Hood.

Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.

Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Schlerosis Society, Peoria, Ill.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Vernon L. Austin, Daryl G. Austin and Kevin W. Austin, all of Morton; three sister Ruth Ballard, Lola Border and Wanda Harris, all of Mt. Vernon and four grandchildren.
