Samuel Lathrop –
died on leap day 1700 in Norwich, CT at age 77.
He was born in England in 1623 the son of Rev. John & Hannah (House)
Lathrop. He immigrated with his father
to Boston in 1634 at age 11. Samuel
married Elizabeth Scudder in Barnstable, MA in 1644 and they had nine
children: John, Elizabeth, Samuel,
Sarah, Martha, Israel, Joseph, Abigail and Anne.
