Christmas babies:

1736 David Janes the son of Jonathan & Irene (Bradford) Janes

1770 Ebenezer Harbert in New Jersey or Pennsylvania the son of Thomas & Sarah (?) Harbert.  He died in Johnson Co., IN in 1846.

1797 Joseph Speer son of Andrew & Elizabeth (Shelton) Speer.  He died in Leesville, IN in 1876.

Zelphia Lathrop

1817 William Lewis in Indiana was the son of William & Susan (Colclasure) Lewis.  He died in Clay Co., IL in 1892.

1868 William Spry the son of Daniel & Susan (Brooks) Spry.  He died in Wayne Co., IL in 1922.

1908 Zelphia Lathrop in Wayne Co., IL the daughter of Joel & Louisa (Dove) Lathrop.  She married Clyde Shelton.  They had no children.  Zelphia died in 1984 and is buried in Mt. Zion / Farnsworth Cemetery in Wayne Co., IL.

Karen Fink daughter of Marvin & Sandra (Lathrop) Fink.  She married Robert Zirkle and they have three children.

Christmas Anniversaries:

1786 John Goodnight & Ruth Davis in Mercer/Boyle Co., KY.  John born 1765 in Mecklenberg Co., NC was the son of Michael & Mary (Landis) Goodnight.  He died and is buried in the Mercer/Boyle County, KY area.

1817 John Young & Judith Goldsmith.  John the son of Jacob & Rachel (Goodnight) Young was born in 1795.  He died in 1882.

1831 Richard Brooks & Delinah Coy in Muskingum Co., OH.  Richard was born ca. 1809 in Virginia or Ohio was the son of Caleb & Susannah (Porter) Brooks.  Delinah was probably the daughter of William & Hester (?) Coy.  She was born ca. 1815 in Pennsylvania.  They had five children.  Delinah died ca. 1850 in Muskingum Co., OH.  Richard moved to Bartholomew Co., IN by 1850 and he married 2) Elizabeth Marshall in 1852.  They had a daughter. He moved on to Clay Co. IL and married Amanda Bowling in 1862. 

1845 Joseph Edwards & Susan Brooks.  Joseph was the son of Jacob & Mary (Porter) Edwards

1921 Herbert Shaw & Gertie Lathrop in Wayne Co., IL.  Herb the son of William & Laura (Robertson) Shaw was born in 1896 in Wayne Co., IL.  Gertie was born in Wayne Co., IL in 1898  the daughter of Joel & Louisa (Dove) Lathrop.  They had six children.  Herb died in Rochelle, IL in 1971 and Gertie died in there in 1982.  We are related on both sides of the family.

1939 Elmer Oliver & Juanita Freeman in Manteno, IL.  Elmer was born in Sailor Springs, IL in 1911 the son of Samuel & Gaynell (White) Oliver.  They had at least two children.  Elmer died in Louisville, IL in 1973.

1941 Walter Belangee & Dorothy Stanley.  Dorothy the daughter of John & Leona (Hunter) Stanley was born in Fairfield, IL in 1921.  They had three children.  She died in Fairfield, in 1998 and is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery.

1943 Kenneth Talbert & Gladys Daniels.  Kenneth born 1907 was the son of Austin & Ella (Fraim) Talbert.  Gladys the daughter of William & Lucinda (Galaspie) Daniels was born 1908 in Wayne Co., IL.  This was a second marriage for both of them. Kenneth married 1) Roberta (?) in 1927 and they had a son.  Gladys married 1) Everett Morris and had two daughters.  Together they had a son.  Gladys died in Fairfield, IL in 1990.  Kenneth died in Mt. Vernon, IL in 1993.

1945 Raymond Smith & Gladys Martin. Raymond is the son of Stanley & Albertdenia (Miller) Smith.  They have two sons.

1948 John Leturno & Norma Lathrop.  Norma is the daughter of Dennis & Mabel (Petty) Lathrop.  They have six children.
