Birthdays: 

1636 Rev. Benjamin Doggett baptized in St. Mary le Power Parish, Ipswich, England.  He immigrated to Virginia ca. 1667.  Benjamin served as minister at St. Mary’s White Chapel in Lancaster Co., VA.  He died in Lancaster Co., VA in 1682.

1677 Isaac Loomis in Windsor, CT he was the son of Joseph & Mary (Chauncey) Loomis.  He died in Windsor in 1704 at age 26.


1842 Howard Gentle in Indiana the son of John & Mary (Parrish) Gentle.  He married Isabelle Moore ca. 1871.  Isabelle was born 1855 in Illinois.  They had six children.  Howard died in Jefferson Co., IL in 1933 and Isabelle in 1950.  They are buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Jefferson Co., IL.

1872 Candace Crumbacher daughter of James & Nancy (Gentle) Crumbacher.  She married Calvin Dobbs.  Candace died in 1952.Samuel died in Louisville, IL in 1953.

Paul Robertson 
1916 Marie Gentle in Bluford, IL the daughter of Calvin & Grace (Whitlatch) Gentle.  She died 1995 in Mt. Vernon, IL and is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Woodlawn, IL.

1923 Paul Robertson in Wayne Co., IL the son of Leonard & Grace (Atkinson) Robertson.  He died in Evansville, IN in 1996 and is buried in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL.

Donald Gunter son of Charles & Fredia (Erkman) Gunter.  He married Shirley (?). 

Patsy Holcomb the wife of Jessie Keen

Mary Rainwater daughter of Lawrence & Frances (Reese) Rainwater

Anniversaries:

1792 Henry Allen & Phebe Clark in the Presbyterian Church in New Providence, NJ.  Phebe born ca. 1770 was the daughter of James & Esther (Marsh) Clark.

1874 Charles Lathrop & Mary Schaefer in Richland Co., IL.  Charles the son of Henry & Rachel (Laws) Lathrop was born in Richland Co., IL in 1852.  They divorced before 1877.


1894 Hughey Mayhill & Mary Colclasure in Clay Co., IL.  Hughey was born in Clay Co. in 1860.  Mary born 1876 was the daughter of John & Laura (Edwards) Colclasure.  She married 1) Jefferson Colclasure in 1892, 2) Hughey Mayhill, 3) Reuben Peters and 4) B.F. Long. 

1882 Samuel Oliver in Louisville, IL.  He was the son of Samuel & Belle (Spry) Oliver.
