Birthdays: 

1662 Thomas Judd the son of Sgt. William & Mary (Steele) Judd

1769 Mary Denton in Shenandoah Co., VA the daughter of James & Elizabeth (Smith) Denton.  She married John Hunt in Washington Co., TN in 1788.  John was the son of John & Mary (Overall) Hunt Sr.  He was born in Frederick Co., VA in 1763.  They had fifteen children.  The family moved to Fleming Co., KY ca. 1796 where John died in 1829.  Mary moved with some of her children to Hagerstown, IN where she died in 1843.

Huntsville Cemetery, Indiana

1848 Varderman Butler son of Minor & Mary (Williamson) Butler in Illinois.  He married Candace Gentle in 1868.  She was the daughter of John & Mary Frances (Parrish) Gentle born in 1850 in Illinois.  Her sister Florence married Varderman’s brother George.  They had two children.  Varderman died in 1877 at age 28 and is buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Jefferson Co. IL..  Candace died in 1880 at age 30.  Their children Edward & Mary were 11 and 8 when Candace died.  Edward died in Jefferson Co., IL in 1887 at age 18.  Mary married Thomas Wilson in 1892 and they had three children.  She died ca. 1925.

1861 Joanna Carter the daughter of Charles & Martha (Lathrop) Carter in Lawrence Co., IL.  She died in in April 1862 and is buried in Lone Tree / Prairieton Cemetery, Lawrence Co., IL.

Anniversaries:

1991 Robert Robertson & Alberta Auvil.  Robert born 1937 in Rankin, IL was the son of Laland & Vivian (Morger) Robertson.  He married 1) Leona Keen and had eight children and 2) Alberta Auvil.  Bob died in Evansville, IN in 1999 and was buried in Oak Valley Church Cemetery in Geff, IL.
