Birthdays: 

Berwick on Tweed

1649 John Ogle in Berwick upon Tweed in England the son of John & Eleanor (Pringle) Ogle.  He came to America with Col. Nicoll’s in 1664 to take New Netherlands (New York) from the Dutch.  They set sail on May 25, 1664 and arrived in New Amsterdam Aug. 27^th.  New Amsterdam surrendered Sept. 8^th.  He lived in New Castle, DE where he died before 1684.

1672 Benjamin Janes the son of William & Hannah (Basson) Janes

1828 Elizabeth Spencer in Illinois, the wife of Rev. Erastus Lathrop.  She died in Richland Co., IL in 1878

1868 Idella Robertson in Fairfield, IL.  The daughter of Amos & Sarah (Warren) Robertson. 

1876 William Garrison, he died in 1924

Marriages:

1857 Leonard Gurley & Susanna Morehead in Massac Co. IL.  This was their first marriage to each other.  See September 5^th entry. 

1880 Richard Colclasure & Emily Samp in Clay Co. IL.  Richard born 1858 in Clay Co. IL the son of Abraham & Catherine (Galbreath) Colclasure.  Emily was born in Clay Co. IL in 1863.

1934 Morris Oliver & Vera Nosek in Clay Co. IL .  Morris is the son of Samuel & Gaynell (White) Oliver.  They have four children.

1961 Gordon Qualls & Betty Keen in Sycamore, IL.  Betty is the daughter of Clyde & Dorothy (Shaw) Keen.  They have two sons.

1978 Daniel Lathrop & Jeanette Eleff.  Daniel is the son of Albert & Velma (Coil) Lathrop

1989 Charles Downey & Cheri Roberson.  Chuck is the son of Charles & Marilyn (Shelton) Downey.  They have a daughter.
